The CAPEVERDEAN WEIGHTLIFTING FEDERATION (Federação Caboverdiana de Halterofilismos) hereinafter called “FECAH”, is a non for profit association founded in March 2018 for an unlimited period of time. The FECAH is the controlling body of the sport of weightlifting in Cape Verde and is composed of the affiliated Member Regional Associations governing the sport of weightlifting on the basis of one association per region of each island. The FECAH is recognised by the National Olympic Committee (NOC) as the sole controlling body for National weightlifting.
